Cookies by Design has been delighting customers with hand-decorated cookies and gourmet treats since 1983. Originally founded in Plano, Texas, this beloved franchise has grown across the United States—and now, it's bringing its signature sweetness to Canada.

How It Started

Our journey in Canada began with Kat Bhullar, a passionate entrepreneur who previously owned a Cookies by Design store in the US. After meeting her now husband Dave and moving to Canada, she saw an opportunity to introduce the brand to a new audience. In 2019, they opened the first Canadian location in Brampton and have since expanded to Barrie, with plans to continue growing throughout Canada.
